Summary
Aria2 Next 2.2.9 refines HTTP segmented download recovery for servers that reject aggressive partial-content concurrency. The release keeps official artifacts on the standard Linux, macOS, and Windows matrix and improves behavior for browser-forwarded downloads that encounter HTTP 429 rate limits.
Changed
- HTTP adaptive concurrency now learns a soft ceiling after rate-limit responses, drops to a single stream immediately, recovers conservatively, and probes above the learned ceiling only after stable success.
- Repeated HTTP 429 responses lower the learned ceiling again, reducing connection-count oscillation on mirrors and CDNs that reject concurrent Range requests.
Fixed
- Segmented HTTP downloads are less likely to repeatedly hit the same server-side partial-connection limit after an initial 429 response.
- Added regression coverage for learned rate-limit ceilings and repeated 429 recovery behavior.
