Pre-requisites

• .NET Framework 4.5 or later
• OpenVPN 2.4 or later

Setup Instructions

1. Download the appropriate binary file:
   • eduVPN-Client-1.0-alpha.Win-x64.zip (64-bit Windows)
   • eduVPN-Client-1.0-alpha.Win-x86.zip (32-bit Windows)
2. Unzip it to a folder of your choice.
3. Create the following registry keys and add values:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\org.eduvpn.app]
"URL Protocol"=""

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\org.eduvpn.app\shell\open\command]
@="\"C:\\Users\\Simon\\Desktop\\eduVPN\\eduVPN.Client.exe\" \"%1\""

(Modify file path to eduVPN.Client.exe appropriately.)
4. (Optional) For non-admin usage, create local user group named "OpenVPN Administrators" and add "Authenticated Users" group as a member.

Usage

Run eduVPN.Client.exe.
