COPG v7.6.0

Android 17 support, a new one-tap Random Device identity, an Integrations dashboard, a stealthier CPU-spoof backend, and a batch of crash and compatibility fixes.

Android 17 — supported

  • COPG now runs on Android 17 (SDK 37). Earlier builds could boot-loop a phone on A17 as soon as a system-wide hook (CorePatch, Google Account, Wallpaper ID, locale, VPN-hide, and friends) tried to install. The v7878 engine is now built from source and made A17-safe, so those device-wide hooks arm cleanly on the new release. If you were stuck on A16 or had the system-server spoofs gated off, they're back on.
    • Engine A17 fix: big thanks to the HMA OSS developer for the engine fix that made this possible.

Random Device — new

  • A one-tap random phone. The device list has a new Random profile at the top: pick it and the app sees a complete, self-consistent made-up phone — brand, model, fingerprint and build fields that all match — instead of a specific preset. It sits alongside This Device as a pinned option in the device picker. FREE.
  • Fresh identity every launch (randid). With the new Randomize IDs switch on a package, every derived identifier that COPG can roll — ANDROID_ID, serial, GAID, App Set ID, IMEI, wallpaper ID — is re-rolled each time the app launches, so it looks like a brand-new device on every start rather than one stable fake. Pair it with the Random profile for a full rotation, or use it on any profile. PRO, stealth where the underlying spoof is stealth.

Integrations dashboard — new

  • See the tools COPG is working with. A new Integrations sheet under Settings lists the root manager, the Zygisk implementation and optional helper modules (such as NoMount) that COPG detects, each with a live status — active, installed, or absent — and its version. If a helper is too old to use safely (an out-of-date NoMount), it's flagged Update needed with a tap-to-read explanation of what to do. Makes it obvious at a glance what's powering the module on your setup.

CPU spoof — stealthier backend

  • Hides the CPU swap from mount scanners (optional). When the NoMount kernel module is installed, the per-app /proc/cpuinfo spoof now goes through NoMount's in-kernel path redirect instead of a bind mount — so it no longer shows up in the app's own /proc/self/mountinfo (the trace that some anti-cheats flag as tampering). Without NoMount, COPG falls back to the normal bind mount, unchanged. The on-boot foreground reconcile honors the NoMount backend too.
  • Needs NoMount 2.2.0 or newer. Older NoMount builds had a kernel freeze/panic bug, so COPG now uses the traceless redirect only on 2.2.0+ and automatically stays on the safe bind mount on anything older (the Integrations card flags a NoMount that's too old).

Zygisk status — improved

  • Correct Zygisk name and version in the System tab. The System tab now reports the real Zygisk implementation (Zygisk Next, ReZygisk, BReZygisk), its version, and whether it's actually injecting vs merely installed — read straight from the daemon rather than guessed, so a misnamed or disabled variant is no longer reported wrong.

GPU spoof — fixed

  • No more crash on Android 16 / newer chips. On ARMv8.5 devices (and newer ROMs that map system libraries with branch-target hardening), turning on the GPU spoof could crash an app at launch with a SIGILL — most visibly games that query Vulkan during start-up. The inline hook now keeps the required landing instruction at the patch site, so it's safe on every device. (The GPU spoof stays resident/detectable and behind the use-at-your-own-risk gate — still never for competitive games.)

Concurrent Mic — fixed

  • Turning it off no longer needs a reboot. Disabling Concurrent Mic now takes effect live; previously the audio server couldn't read the toggle under SELinux, so the feature stayed on until the next reboot.

CorePatch — fixed

  • No more Samsung lock/reboot loop. On some Samsung devices the signature-verification patch could trip a "device locked, try again in 3 days" / inactivity-reboot loop. The signature check is now scoped to the package installer only (not every signature comparison on the device), and the mis-triggered Samsung inactivity-reboot is handled, so the loop is gone.

Other fixes

  • SIM/carrier — a shelled-out getprop of the carrier props now matches what the API reports (closes a getprop-vs-API mismatch for sim/simx).
  • VPN hide — reports the real underlying interface so a VPN-detector no longer sees a network-type mismatch; added an older-Android file-view layer for vpnn.
  • Home — tap the Devices / Packages stat cards to jump straight to that Library tab.

Thanks

  • Huge thanks to @PARADOXCODM for testing roughly 20 Android 17 builds back-to-back while we chased the boot loop — including having to factory-reset his own device after one of our builds bricked the boot. A17 support in this release exists because of that patience. 🙏
  • Thanks to the HMA OSS developer for the v7878 engine fix behind the Android 17 support.
