The biggest change here definitely concerns the Firefox version. The add-on for FF has been converted into a pure WebExtension. What does it mean and why it is so crucial will be explained below. Extension versions for other browsers hardly underwent any changes.

Mozilla plans to release Firefox 57 as a browser supporting only WebExtensions add-ons. So any add-on that is not a WebExtension will stop working. Due to this, Firefox Nightly had already been marking our add-on as a legacy one. This change guarantees that AdGuard extension will remain supported by FF-based browsers.
