Customizable keyboard shortcuts
- Change the keys for any command: open the shortcuts list (?, or Settings → Viewer → Keyboard shortcuts), click a shortcut and press the new keys.
- Esc cancels, Backspace removes a shortcut, and each changed shortcut has its own reset button. Restore default shortcuts brings them all back.
- Picking keys that another command already uses moves them to the new command.
- Tooltips, menus, Quick launch and the start screen always show the keys you're actually using.
- New shortcuts: Bring forward (
}) and Send backward ({).
Zoom speed
- New Zoom speed setting in Settings → Viewer, from 0.25× to 3×. It sets how far each mouse wheel notch, the zoom buttons and the zoom keys zoom.
- Trackpad pinch still follows your fingers.
- Hold Alt (or Ctrl Shift) while scrolling to zoom 3× faster. This also works over the navigator.
Customizable toolbar
- Choose which buttons the toolbar shows in Settings → Appearance → Toolbar buttons, or just right-click the toolbar.
- Hidden buttons keep their keyboard shortcuts.
- The More (⋯) button always stays, so Settings is always within reach.
Fixes
- Ctrl+Shift combinations BetterViewer doesn't use, like Ctrl+Shift+A or Firefox's Ctrl+Shift+K console, now reach the browser instead of triggering the Ctrl shortcut.
No new permissions in this version.
