Highlights from this release:
- ABI=14 removes the tree level I/O methods and the out-of-core state from the grid, tree, node and point attribute classes. Serialization now goes only through the new openvdb::codecs framework introduced in 13.2.
- OpenVDB has fewer external dependencies. Blosc is no longer an external dependency and has now been vendored into the core library. Log4cplus has been removed and replaced by a logging sink API. Zlib is now a private dependency.
- Added CMake Config files for OpenVDB so downstream projects can more easily depend on OpenVDB, NanoVDB and AX.
- The NanoVDB GPU tools now build into single-space, device-only buffers by default. The dual-space buffers and the forwarding headers and function names deprecated since OpenVDB 12.0 are removed.
- Minimum dependency versions now track CY2025 of the VFX Reference Platform.
