ARMSX3 1.1
Games
- Splatterhouse: no longer crashes a few seconds into a phase.
- LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 no longer locks up (picture stuck, sound still playing) during big loads. It was running out of video memory, so when the game’s streaming buffers grew, the memory the old ones used stayed reserved. That memory is now freed right away, which should also help other games that froze the same way.
Upstream RPCS3
- Armored Core: Verdict Day: the flickering blue squares are gone (from RPCS3, by @Yahfz).
- Gran Turismo 6 (versions up to 1.05): the rear-view mirror is no longer corrupted (from RPCS3, by @kd-11).
Display
- Display Resolution set below your screen's resolution no longer rebuilds the screen every frame, which could hurt fps.
Patches
- Some patches that add new code to a game could crash ARMSX3. They work now, which the Splatterhouse fix needed.
