@MrYoshii gave the T-LoRa Pager a UI made for its 480x222 panel and its knob, a faster GPS first fix, German for the new strings and a Pager simulator for the web build (#753, #754, #755, #758). Thank you! The rest of this round is about what you told us after beta_100: language downloads, saving update bins to SD, the T-Deck Pro, keypad navigation on the ThinkNode M9, and a stack of requests from Discord. Thanks to everyone who sent logs and ideas, in particular @Jess-39, @william-stearns, @oumike, @oz1kfy, @mrickey and @Eddie-Feher-at-TT here, and benanderson, zomgugoff, gadgeteerza, 161ct006 and Ender436 on Discord.
New
- Offline maps fill the gaps. When a tile is missing and Wi-Fi is not connected, the map cuts the matching square out of the tile one to three zoom levels up and scales it into the gap, so you see a blocky but correct map instead of an empty square. The zoom buttons go up to three levels past what you have saved (asked for by benanderson).
- 25 more time zones, from Central, South, East and West Africa, Egypt and Moscow to Singapore, Perth, Korea, Adelaide, New Zealand, Argentina, Mexico City and Newfoundland. The list now runs west to east, and a Custom offset you already set stays as it is (asked for by gadgeteerza).
- Adjustable picture and wallpaper dimming: Settings, Theme, Background, Picture dimming, and Settings, Lock screen, Wallpaper dimming, each Off, Light, Medium or Strong. Strong is the default and the look you have today (asked for by zomgugoff and benanderson).

Fixes
- Languages from the Store download on every board again. The file is saved as it arrives instead of being held in one big block of memory first, which the 2 MB Heltec V4 and boards low on memory could not spare once the language files grew (reported by 161ct006). A file that is truly too large now says so instead of blaming the server.
- Save update bin to SD works again. Every download reached 100% and then failed with "SD write failed", because the size check ran on the still-open file, which the card's file system reports as 0 bytes until it is closed. The file is now closed, opened again and checked on the card (#734, reported by @Jess-39 and @william-stearns).
- The clock no longer falls back by half an hour with GPS battery saving on: after a rest the GPS still held its last report from before the rest, and the 30-minute clock sync took that old time. Every internet time sync now also reaches the clock chip on boards that have one (the ThinkNode M9), and with Wi-Fi on "Sync clock" asks the time server right away (reported by gadgeteerza).
- Accented letters are the size of the text around them at the Large and Huge text sizes, and Romanian ș and ț are drawn instead of an empty box. Settings, Language names a language added from the Store (Polish showed as English), and nineteen settings and messages that had no translation row now translate.
- Contacts: Peers lists people only, now that rooms have their own filter (asked for by benanderson).
- Keypad navigation scrolls past text and charts: Up and Down move the page a step at a time when the next control is further away than the screen shows, so a long description or a chart between two buttons is on screen before the cursor moves on (asked for by benanderson and zomgugoff).
- Chat list with the keys: when a new message rebuilt the list, the cursor fell onto the "..." button, so OK opened the Chats menu instead of the chat. The cursor now stays on the same chat (ThinkNode M9, T-Deck trackball, T-LoRa Pager, Tanmatsu).
- Telemetry: the Request button is reachable with the keys while a history chart shows (reported by benanderson).
Boards
- T-LoRa Pager (#753, #758, #755 by @MrYoshii): the UI fits the 480x222 panel with a one-row status bar; Shift + knob sets brightness or volume, holding Shift turns on Quiet now, holding Fn shows every shortcut, holding a letter picks its accent; the map zooms on the knob without going black, and Home shows the latest chat. The GPS gets the last position, and the time when the clock is known to be right, at power-up for a faster first fix, and stays awake three minutes after the map closes. The new strings are in German.
- T-Deck Pro: Wi-Fi starts with Bluetooth on, since the e-paper draw buffer moved out of the scarce internal memory (#763, reported by @oumike). A boot that took 30 seconds or more no longer ends on the logo: the screen timeout counted the boot as idle time and locked the e-paper with the logo on top (#762, reported by @oz1kfy).
- T-Deck Pro and Max: USB Files (files.wadamesh.com over the USB cable) works on them too (asked for by Ender436).
- ThinkNode M9: the d-pad cursor no longer lands on a message hidden under the text field when messages arrive (#764, reported by @mrickey), and MSG on the chat list opens Contacts, MSG from Contacts goes back to Chats (#765, asked for by @Eddie-Feher-at-TT).
For developers
The web host build runs as a T-LoRa Pager simulator with -DWADA_SIM_PAGER=ON (#754 by @MrYoshii), and as a ThinkNode M9 with -DWADA_HOST_BOARD=m9, both for scripting their screens and keys. See WEB_BUILD.md.
Languages
The Store's languages are at version 31, with the new rows for this build.
