[1.3.3] - 2026-08-11

Added

  • Added an SQLite-backed Native Worker Job runtime with idempotent submission, status/result queries, cancellation and command APIs, bounded concurrency, lane-aware scheduling, and durable event storage.
  • Added separate Control and Event IPC transports for the desktop app and CLI, with independent Event reconnection plus acknowledgement and replay of unconsumed agent-stream envelopes.
  • Added CLI workspace-file references through @ search, including a structured reference bar, prompt-history and rewind restoration, workspace-bound path validation, and bounded text-context injection.
  • Added a live CLI turn-status row for requesting, thinking, responding, and tool-use phases, showing elapsed time, transfer direction, token estimates, reasoning effort, and animated activity text.
  • Added compact CLI diffs for successful Edit tool calls, including file names, addition/deletion totals, contextual lines, and truncation for large replacements.
  • Added masked terminal provider setup through cowork config, /provider, and /config, with common quick presets, custom compatible endpoints, and atomic writes to the provider store shared with the desktop app.

Changed

  • Bumped the Native Worker protocol to version 2 and extended route discovery with execution mode, result mode, and lane-policy descriptors so hosts can dispatch eligible methods through the durable Job runtime.
  • Changed Job wait semantics so a foreground timeout leaves committed work queued or running for later status checks, while an explicit abort issues a best-effort cancellation even when it races Job submission.
  • Made queued Jobs survive Worker restarts, marked interrupted in-flight work with an explicit failure state, and propagated cancellation through Agent providers and tool execution.
  • Expanded Native Worker verification around durable Jobs, split IPC, message windowing, and sub-agent history persistence.
