✨ New Features (v3.5.0.0)

• Smooth entrance and transitions across the app: the Launch screen and Settings now glide in with a smooth entrance animation on startup, and moving between Launch and Settings flows with the same smooth motion.
• Sliding animation when switching platform categories: switching between System and User platforms now glides across with a smooth horizontal slide, making the platform picker feel fluid and responsive.
• Refined transitions throughout Settings: moving between Settings pages, and in and out of the gamepad profile editor, now flows with consistent motion that makes the whole experience feel more cohesive and refined.
• Animated adding and removing of custom platforms: custom platform cards now glide in and out as you add or delete them, for a smooth, satisfying touch.
• Phantom Glass background materials: choose a frosted glass background that softly blurs and tints your desktop wallpaper behind the app. Pick from Phantom Glass, Phantom Glass Deep, or the solid Phantom Classic in Settings.

🔧 Improvements (v3.5.0.0)

• Restructured for what's next: both the Launch screen and the Settings pages have been reorganized internally onto a unified navigation architecture, with a smooth transition as you move between them. It's the same app you know today, now on a new foundation that paves the way for more pages and features down the road.
• Streamlined gamepad input handling in Settings and Launch: the gamepad A-button handling was unified into a single path, so new controls work with the gamepad automatically.
• Localized Controller Layout description: the Controller Layout description in Settings now shows the Classic layout name in your language, matching the layout switch.
• Localized platform names in Chinese: the Xbox App and Playnite Fullscreen platform names now appear in Chinese (Traditional and Simplified), matching how the community languages already localize them.
• Tidier headings when editing a gamepad profile: long app names and process names at the top of the gamepad profile editor now stay on a single line and end neatly with an ellipsis, keeping the card uniform.
• Custom platform notice heading reads cleanly in every language: the heading of the experimental custom-platform notice now shows in full in every language, wrapping neatly across more lines where a translation runs long.
• Language management buttons fit every language: the Manage Languages button in Settings and the action buttons in the language manager now size themselves to their labels, so they look balanced in every language.
• Smooth scrolling through suggestions with the stick: when a suggestion list is open, the left stick now moves through the list just like the D-pad, keeping your selection inside the list instead of slipping out.
• One clean sound when moving through Settings: navigating between Settings pages with the gamepad now plays a single, clean sound on every device, including handhelds, instead of occasionally doubling up.
• Nekomata sets you up at the top when editing a profile: open a profile in Nekomata's editor and she now starts you right at the heading up top, so you can glide straight down through the settings without repositioning first.
• B closes the Settings menu first inside a sub-page: with the navigation menu (☰) open on a sub-page such as Nekomata's editor, pressing B now closes the menu first instead of leaving the page, so a single B always steps back one layer as you'd expect.
• Focus returns to the Download & Install button after an interrupted update: if a download is canceled or fails, the gamepad focus now returns cleanly to the Download & Install button, so you can try again right away without hunting for it.
• Update recovers gracefully if your connection drops mid-download: if the connection stalls partway through downloading an update, the update now stops and reports the failure, so you can simply try again.
• OmniCharm widget headings read in full in every language: section headings in the OmniCharm Game Bar widget now wrap onto more lines where a translation runs long, instead of getting cut off at the edge.

• 用搖桿瀏覽建議清單更順手：建議清單開啟時，左搖桿現在會像十字鍵一樣在清單內移動，讓選取保持在清單裡，不會不小心滑出去。
• 在設定中切換時音效更清爽：用手把在設定各頁之間切換時，現在在每種裝置上都只播一聲乾淨的音效，包括掌機，不會偶爾響成兩聲。

🛠️ 安裝說明

從下方 Assets 下載 OmniConsole_3.5.0.0_x64.zip 並解壓縮至任意資料夾。

方式 A：Install.bat（建議）

1. 執行 Install.bat，將自動開啟開發人員模式、安裝憑證、補齊相依框架套件，並安裝兩個 MSIX 套件。

方式 B：手動安裝

1. [重要] 前往 Windows 設定 → 系統 → 進階，啟用開發人員模式。
2. [重要] 點兩下 OmniConsole_3.5.0.0_x64.cer → 點選安裝憑證 → 存放區位置選擇本機電腦 → 將所有憑證放入以下的存放區 → 瀏覽 → 選擇受信任的人 → 完成。（若你之前已安裝過，則無需重複此步驟。）
3. （選用，僅全新／離線系統需要；連網系統會自動下載） 依序點兩下 Dependencies\ 中的檔案安裝相依框架套件（若顯示已安裝相同或更新版本可略過）。
4. 點兩下 OmniConsole_3.5.0.0_x64.msix 安裝主程式。
5. 點兩下 OmniConsole.PhantomLink_3.5.0.0_x64-widget.msix 安裝 OmniCharm 小工具。

⚙️ 前置條件

• Windows 11 24H2 (Build 26100.7019)+，且已啟用 Xbox 模式 (FSE) 功能。
• OmniConsole 需要完整掌機版的 Xbox 模式 (FSE)。Microsoft 正逐步將受限 PC 版推送至一般 PC，請使用 Xbox Full Screen Experience Tool (XFSET) 切換至完整掌機版。
• 桌機、筆電、平板及未取得完整掌機版的掌機：請先執行 XFSET。
• 原生掌機裝置（如 ROG Xbox Ally 系列）：原廠即為完整掌機版，可直接安裝 OmniConsole。
• 需要 Xbox 手把：Game Bar、Xbox 模式 (FSE) 以及所有手把功能皆需使用具備 Xbox 按鈕的 XInput 相容控制器。

🛠️ Installation Instructions

Download OmniConsole_3.5.0.0_x64.zip from the Assets below and extract it to any folder.

Option A: Install.bat (Recommended)

1. Run Install.bat. It will enable Developer Mode, install the certificate, install any missing framework dependencies, and install both MSIX packages automatically.

Option B: Manual Install

1. [Critical] Go to Windows Settings → System → Advanced and enable Developer Mode.
2. [Critical] Double-click OmniConsole_3.5.0.0_x64.cer → click Install Certificate → Store Location: Local Machine → Place all certificates in the following store → Browse → select Trusted People → Finish. (Skip this step if you already have the certificate installed)
3. (Optional — only needed on fresh/offline systems; online systems fetch these automatically) Double-click each file inside Dependencies\ to install the bundled framework packages (skip any that report an equal or newer version already installed).
4. Double-click OmniConsole_3.5.0.0_x64.msix to install the main app.
5. Double-click OmniConsole.PhantomLink_3.5.0.0_x64-widget.msix to install the OmniCharm widget.

⚙️ Prerequisites

• Windows 11 24H2 (Build 26100.7019)+ with Xbox Mode (FSE) enabled.
• OmniConsole requires the Full Handheld edition of Xbox Mode (FSE). Microsoft is gradually rolling out a Limited PC edition to regular PCs — use Xbox Full Screen Experience Tool (XFSET) to switch to the Full Handheld edition.
• Desktops, Laptops, Tablets & Handhelds without the Full Handheld edition: Run XFSET first.
• Native Handheld Devices (e.g., ROG Xbox Ally series): Already on the Full Handheld edition — install OmniConsole directly.
• Xbox Controller Required: Game Bar, Xbox Mode (FSE), and all gamepad features require an Xbox-compatible (XInput) controller with an Xbox button.

2. 點選檢查更新，再點下載並安裝。OmniConsole 會自動下載新版本並完成安裝。

⚠️ 升級時請透過「應用程式內更新」或 Install.bat（解壓 OmniConsole_3.5.0.0_x64.zip 後可見），不要從下方 Assets 下載安裝 MSIX 套件。 「應用程式內更新」與 Install.bat 都會妥善處理被執行中的遊戲佔用的檔案；手動安裝 MSIX 套件會導致更新不完整或兩套件版本不一致。

🔄 Already have OmniConsole installed? Update from within the app

1. Open OmniConsole Settings, then go to ☰ → Advanced.
2. Click Check for Updates, then Download & Install. OmniConsole downloads the new version and installs it for you.

⚠️ Please update via the in-app updater or Install.bat (found after extracting OmniConsole_3.5.0.0_x64.zip), rather than downloading the MSIX packages from the Assets below. Both the in-app updater and Install.bat properly handle files still in use by a running game; installing the MSIX packages manually will leave the update incomplete or the two packages on mismatched versions.
