Chromium Embedded Framework
On Linux and macOS, nui-sftp now ships its own browser engine (Chromium via CEF) instead of the system's WebKit. Every distribution now runs the same engine, independent of the installed WebKitGTK version.
- Your sessions and settings carry over, nothing needs to be migrated.
- Downloads are larger (about 150 MB), since the engine is now part of the package.
- On macOS, allow the Local Network prompt again after updating. Connections fail with "No route to host" until it is allowed.
- Windows is unchanged and keeps using WebView2.
- The About section now shows the browser engine and its version, and the licenses page lists CEF and Chromium.
