What's new
- Friendly use menu: a simpler view for Neural Rendering, upscaling and frame generation, using the original menu's styling. Switch back to Advanced mode whenever you want.
- Multi-pass in Friendly use: choose 1–3 neural passes on supported Daniel and lmxxf paths. Mochizuki remains single-pass.
- Cleaner original menu: longer explanations move into Live/details and tooltips. Errors that need your attention remain visible.
- Shared quality presets: the original and Friendly menus use the same controls. The Handheld option appears only on supported handheld APUs.
- Reset all settings: an Advanced-menu action with confirmation and a settings backup. The reset applies on the next game startup and preserves installation identity and paths.
- Optional Classic carry: available under Neural > Quality, off by default for lmxxf Model A and mochizuki Models A/B, including Anywhere. It is separate from the model's own history and the Model interleave setting.
- Automatic runtime preparation: supported components download and prepare automatically, with file verification, bounded retries and recovery from incomplete downloads. Manual import remains optional.
- Less duplicate runtime storage: after a successful update, the launcher removes eligible superseded prepared copies. Failed downloads retain the previous files; active files, unrelated content and required dependencies are preserved.
- HelixSR preparation updated to 2.0.0: downloaded separately from its author's official release.
- Driver-provided FSR selection: compatible drivers can supply SR 4.1.2 and FG 4.0.2. The bundled SDK files remain SR 4.1.1 and FG 4.0.1; AMD driver DLLs are not included.
Fixes
- Mochizuki reporting activity without producing NR frames: corrected the depth and motion inputs supplied to the worker. The overlay now counts completed model outputs instead of pass-through frames.
- Blue/cyan patches with Classic carry: corrected colour transport between frames. Controlled tests reduced the reproduced discolouration; this is not a claim that every colour or ghosting issue is gone.
- Daniel 0.8.0 missing or incomplete files: the launcher repairs partial runtime folders through NR and SR/RR/FG selections, preserving verified files and player settings.
- Unsupported display motion format: added correct handling for
R16G16B16A16_SNORM, the format rejected in the supplied Resident Evil 3 report. - Upscaler switching and resource lifetime: corrected several callback, feature and command-list ownership paths. DX12 retirement follows actual submission and completion instead of a fixed timeout.
- Skipped processing and stale history: preserve scene-reset requests when command lists are discarded, and restore game predication after SR/NR processing.
- FSR frame generation: track completion before reusing prepare allocators and improve deferred presentation-resource retirement.
- Vulkan bridge: expanded dynamic-state replay for draws recorded after upscaling. The reported Bloodborne HUD case still needs a game retest.
- Anywhere: corrected Model E synchronization and prevented installed runtime libraries from making games appear to have native upscaler support.
- Launcher installation: improved proxy selection and Vulkan, Xbox/WinGDK and Unreal directory handling while preserving other mods' DLLs. Anti-cheat titles show an acknowledgement before installation; this does not bypass anti-cheat or establish online compatibility.
- Logs: fresh installations use
LogToFile=true; existing configurations remain intact.
Downloads and runtime components

The main mod does not include NVIDIA DLLs or NR weights. Components and dependencies use their documented installation paths; the launcher handles supported downloads.
Known limits
- This is not a universal crash, flicker, blur or ghosting fix. NBA2K27 on RX 9060 XT, remaining Starfield/RDR2/FH6 reports, some mochizuki ACO failures and RR/MFG pacing still require investigation.
- A controlled 60-switch/360-frame test reduced peak VRAM with Daniel from 8.992 to 3.215 GB. This is a test result, not a promise for every game or long session.
- Mochizuki RDNA 3 work remains deferred to 0.3.5.9.
- Newer FSR versions require a driver that supplies them. A new FSR FG output path for Anywhere is not included.
- Public Chat reactions, mentions, Enter-to-send and new admin tools require the matching server update. That update is prepared locally, not deployed.
- Final in-game qualification of this exact binary and the corresponding-source release are still pending. Earlier controlled GPU results do not replace those checks.
- Send COLLECT LOGS reports from the launcher when something fails.
