AMDNR 0.3.5.5 - Video : https://youtu.be/3BTz3EFKX8Y
Smoother, everywhere. A stall of roughly 90 ms every 3.2 seconds is gone.
It hit every user, in every game — even with Neural Rendering and Frame
Generation both switched off. The menu's input polling was making 248 user32
calls per frame, and a HID device round-trip was holding the process-wide
input lock while the render thread waited on it.
A guard against long freezes and GPU resets — new, and on by default.
If a neural job runs too long, AMDNR drops to one pass, or stops feeding it,
before the driver resets your GPU. It came from a real player's log. We can't
make a reset happen on demand, so it's a guard, not a promise.
Play Anywhere fixes. Its upscale goes back to our own Lanczos pass as the
default, and the motion carry is capped at 0.6 inside Anywhere only — games
are untouched. That should mean less ghosting.
If you used Play Anywhere on 0.3.5.2 – 0.3.5.4, your
OptiScaler.ini
may haveAnywhereFsr4Upscale=truewritten into it. A default cannot
override a line that is already in the file — delete that line to get
this fix. An automatic migration is on the way.

- Letterbox for Play Anywhere — keeps your picture's shape with black bars
instead of stretching it. Off by default. - The 1440p network size runs 4.1% faster on RX 9000 (−0.794 ms), bit for
bit the same picture. The size itself is still opt-in. - Redesigned launcher.

Some work has moved to 0.3.6.
Lab note: with FSR 4 carrying the Anywhere upscale, static content measured
13.66% flicker against 0.31% for our own pass (2px checker: 66.19% vs 0.17%).
Measured on a synthetic harness, not gameplay.
