Router identity next to the manager's name; optic levels judged both ways (v0.39.3)
#253: the router's own identity (/system identity) is now stored on
every poll, also while the manager's name is locked, where it used to
be read and dropped. System Information shows Name and "Identity on the
router" when they differ, with "Use this name": it switches to the
identity at once (the update sets it from the stored identity) and
follows it from then on, as Edit Device's link does.
#249 (devaux's follow-up):
- Light is judged against its usual level in both directions: a rise
can mean a failing sensor, reflection off a damaged end face or a
misbehaving power control. "RX vs usual" shows above or below. - A module at 60 °C or more is yellow (poor airflow, a failed fan); red
stays at 70 °C. - Optional fixed receive limits (optic_rx_low_dbm / optic_rx_high_dbm,
Settings > Alerting, admins): crossing either turns the port red and
alerts. Off until set, since the right values depend on the optic. - The alert is renamed "Optic Light Level"; advice and dashboard text
cover a change either way.
Tested: renamed a CRS309 in the manager, saw its identity and switched
back with Use this name (router untouched). Simulated a +4.6 dB rise and
62 °C on a CCR2216 port; exercised both limits on a real Intel 10G SR
optic (-3.2 dBm) and cleared them; only the simulated rows removed.
Docs: devices.md (device names), alerting.md (optic light levels).
