Fixes
~abbreviation now respects path boundaries: only$HOMEitself and paths under$HOME/are shortened, as in bash's prompt. Previously, withHOME=/home/bobthe sibling/home/bobby/xwas listed as~by/x, and withHOME=/(common in containers) every directory was listed as~opt/...,~usr/.... A$HOMEwith a trailing slash is no longer abbreviated either (bash does the same).
Compatibility
- Default
directorymode: no change. full-path/short-pathmodes: a session previously named after one of those garbled~by/...forms now gets a name from the real path, so an old session for such a directory won't be re-used; kill it once.
