  About This Hack has moved from the legacy storyboard interface to SwiftUI. The Overview, Displays, Storage, Support, and Settings experiences were rebuilt as native SwiftUI views while preserving the familiar macOS layout.
• macOS 27 Golden Gate Support (96af042)
  Added Golden Gate version detection, Apple's Golden Gate system badge, and matching internal/external HDD and SSD artwork.
• Expanded Mac Model Recognition (d6f9bb7, efa5ec7)
  Added missing legacy Intel models, corrected M4 Mac mini names, and added the current M5 MacBook Air and MacBook Pro lineup, including separate M5 Pro and M5 Max labels.

  Added a Settings experience for choosing a custom Overview logo. Custom artwork is now stored safely in Application Support rather than inside the app bundle.

Performance & Reliability

• Safer Software Updates (558322e, 4921c08, fc42008, 3971096)
  Update checks now run asynchronously with timeouts, failed launch-time checks stay quiet, pending-release state is synchronized, and successful updates install into and relaunch the running app bundle.
• More Reliable Hardware Collection (e65daa6, 002a0fe, a6a8822)
  Synchronized shared OS and model data, added a system_profiler fallback for GPUs that do not expose Metal, and stopped presenting CPU core counts as fake multi-CPU configurations.

Bug Fixes

• Modern macOS Window Behavior (d89fc4c, bf92596)
  Fixed SIP and updater edge cases, corrected toolbar Liquid Glass behavior, and raised the minimum deployment target to macOS 12.
• Apple Silicon Chip Details (8b73fec)
  Processor tooltips now correctly derive Apple Silicon chip labels.

UI/UX Improvements

• Responsive Overview Controls (018a475, 1e3d19e)
  Overview labels and action buttons resize for localized content instead of colliding or truncating.
• Localized Interface and Tooltips (ed22f35, 010ed0e, de8d340, b39b818)
  The app, its tooltips, update alerts, and diagnostics are localized in English, Spanish, and French.

Notes

This is the SwiftUI release. It modernizes the app's UI foundation while retaining macOS 12 support, adds macOS 27 Golden Gate support, and substantially broadens Mac hardware identification.
