Option A: EXE Installer - The recommended choice for most users
The eduVPNClient_<ver>.exe EXE installer installs all required eduVPN Client components.
Option B: MSI Packages - For automated deployments in organizations
The eduVPNClient_<ver>_<plat>.msi MSI packages are recommended for Group Policy deployments. However, they do not handle the .NET Framework installation and the Desktop shortcut.
MSI packages are used in WinGet deployments.
⚠️ The installation options do not mix. If the client was installed on your computer using one option, upgrade it using the same option. When unsure, uninstall the existing client before upgrading. Don't worry, it will keep your user settings.
