What's New

General improvements and refactoring to refine additions made in v0.3.0. Basically a followup to 0.3.0 to address things added in 0.3.0 that could have been done better. Also some internal UI code was restructured but it doesn't result in any user-facing changes whatsoever so I don't consider that enough to make this 0.4.0, since it's stuff that should have been in 0.3.0 anyway, but I'm still too gung-ho on creating new releases. I should really just sit on them for longer.

Improved Play Queue

• The play queue's selection behavior has been adjusted, with selection now being always possible without having to enable a selection mode, and performance when deleting lots of track was improved
• Undo support added.

Player controls improvements

• The player's UI has been updated to be more responsive, with the stop and loop buttons being removed and replaced with a popup menu.
• The new menu has separate "stop" and "exit player" options, and radio options for the loop mode rather than one button which cycles.
• A "Stop After Current Track" option was introduced to the menu.
• Playback toggle and Previous/Next buttons have been moved to the left of the track title, with the volume controls moved into their old position and the button to toggle the new menu added where the volume was.
• Additional information about current song is now shown below the song title.

Better Keyboard Navigation

• Keybindings have been added for most actions
• Navigating in the artist and album lists with the keyboard when the sidebar is collapsed no longer immediately closes it, which previously made keyboard navigation when the sidebar was collapsed impossible.

Miscellaneous

• Sort controls added to main menu, along with the "Filter All Albums" button being moved to the menu as well.
• Minor UI padding/margin changes, and the minimum size of the window has been decreased.
• "Return to Playing Album" and play queue toggle button have better icons.
• Strange behavior related to track changing and seeking causing micro-stutters has been resolved.
