⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE FOR MACOS USERS
To ensure Dove continues to work properly (and avoid bugs/unexpected issues), you MUST update Dove's environment variables. The recommended way to do this is via the environment update script, which can be ran with the following command in your terminal:

Changes
- Updated to Phoenix
2026.06.10.1. - Enabled public PGP key attachment for signed messages by default.
- Enabled support for setting passphrases to control the use of OpenPGP secret keys.
- Prevented leakage of the
referencesandreply-toheaders for encrypted messages. - Set the
MIMEhash algorithm for E2EE toSHA512(as it's currently the strongest supported value) by default. - Language packs will now only be downloaded from Mozilla by default.
- OAuth authentication is now performed back in Thunderbird directly by default, due to it not functioning when the default browser is a Gecko/Firefox derivative and when
network.lna.allow_top_level_navigationpref is set totruein the default browser (which it is by default in ex. Firefox w/ Phoenix and LibreWolf). - Removed duplicate/redundant OS/platform checks.
- Other minor tweaks and adjustments.
