This patch release fixes PhysicalMachineChaos configuration, workflow deletion, controller selection, and TimeChaos on ARM64. It also fixes Dashboard HTTP task parsing, skips terminated pods by default, and includes build updates.

Breaking changes

Warning

  • Redis Sentinel redisPath. The previous boolean type was incorrect. Chaosd expects a directory string for the redis-server executable. This release corrects the field type to a string. Remove existing boolean values or replace them with a directory string before upgrading. #5204
  • PhysicalMachineChaos disk-fill. Chaos Mesh uses fill-by-fallocate, while Chaosd uses fallocate. This release correctly maps the Chaos Mesh field to the Chaosd field. Chaosd defaults to fallocate, but Chaos Mesh uses fallocate only when fill-by-fallocate is explicitly set to true. Setting it to false or omitting it now uses dd. The field names and default behavior may be unified in a future release. #5205
